Issue #13–Agent Carter and Constantine Enchant Again

Yes, True Believers,we’ve drunk the Constantine Kool-Aid again.  But before they get to that, Nick (@nickyahogan) and John (@johned970) discuss more of the news and renewals coming out of the the Television Critics Association winter tour.  This includes Gotham‘s renewal and interviews with Stephen Amell and Tom Cavanagh.  In casting news, Chuck finds a new job, young Dexter becomes the young Trickster and Mama Smoak is booking a return trip to Starling City.  They then discuss Agent Carter and the mid-season premiere of Constantine.  The Things That They Found Interesting include pasty, Alabama soul musicians and dating turmoils in 20th and 21st centuries.  And while that should be enough for any show they talk about FX’s The Americans for 6 minutes and ABC’s Galavant for 10.  Because you should.

Issue #12–Gotham Returns and Agent Carter Premieres

We’re back, True Believers, just like a few of our shows, thought this issue has taken a lot longer to post than it should have.  Nick (@nickyahogan) and John (@johned970) first discuss the news and renewals coming out of the the Television Critics Association winter tour.  This includes Daredevil hitting the streets, iZombie setting its first course, Supergirl definitely taking flight and Vixen going on the prowl.  In casting news, Spartacus creates a storm, Admiral Adama takes up a new SHIELD, and Hector Salamanca makes a deal with the devil, and perhaps Nightwing gets a new face.  They then discuss the mid season premieres of Gotham and Agent Carter plus a bit on the Ant-Man trailer.  They each end by picking a Thing That They Found Interesting, which really is just a way to talk about all the shows they binge watched over the holidays, which included shows from HBO, FX, Cinemax, The CW, ABC, BBC, Amazon and Netflix.

We’re late again, True Believers, but we’re still celebrating #Flarrow in all its glory.  And just in time for our 8th podcast.  Nick (@nickyahogan) and John (@johned970) wallow in the news this week after the Thanksgiving drought.  They then discuss last week’s epic crossover of The Flash and Arrow, as well as Agents of Shield and Constantine.  They each end by picking a Thing That They Found Interesting, which touch on new takes on the familiar.  Also, they’re both recovering from illnesses both great and small, so there’s sinus drainage, labored breathing and rampant use of cough buttons.  Enjoy!!
